Well there hasn't been much of a squeek out of me in the last ages, I am fully aware of this fact. Foot to the floor, that is what has been going on in the studio these days. Not that I'm complaining at all! I have been loving it. Lots of interesting projects on the go.
The rest of my time (weekends) have been taken up with painting with friends and I've put on an exhibition (LessBut Better see www.curateanddesign.com) since the last time I blogged. It was a success and myself and my friend Shane will defo be collaborating on more in the future.
The exhib was centred around Braun and the imfamous industrial designer, Dieter Rams. There is a limited edition poster for sale if it tickles any of your fancies. Here's the link:
http://www.curateanddesign.com/index.php?/shop/dieter-rams-print/
It's a 5 colour A2 litho limited edition print on grey tinted uncoated 270gsm stock. At €20 I think its a bargain.
Lovingly designed by the talented fellows of Conor&David, it reads LESS when you turn your head 180 degrees. Smart in concept and exicution. Bravo lads.

I came across this Irish illustrator not so long ago, while looking through this years ICAD (Institute of Creative Advertising and Design) annual. Steves work features heavily throughout.
The man has bags of talent, there's no way of getting around this fact. As I looked thorugh his site for the first time, what surprised me the most was the fact that he has so many different styles in his large body of work. It seems that he can adapt to any style of illustration a project may require, which I admire as it aids in the avoiding complacensy. Too many illustrators and designers find a style and stick with it until they burn out. Yawwwwwn.
Keep churning out the inspirational work Steve, kudos to you sir!
