My largest mural to date, the Electric Culture wall measures 150 feet in length by about 20-25 feet in height. The mural was commissioned by the ESB (the Electrical Supply Board). The building itself houses the oldest and first generator of electricity in Dublin.
The aim behind the mural was to promote the positive nature of culture within the area of Temple Bar in Dublin. To get this across to the public, I depicted the arts on one side of the building and the main architectural landmarks and public sculptures of Temple Bar on the other side. Electric energy eminating from the ESB light bulb in the centre of the door on the corner binds the whole mural.
