To the left is my entry to a 'design your own cover' competition run by the widely dispersed Dublin magazine Totally Dublin. The brief was to come up with an illustration that represented the band Chic, as they were the main feature that month. My illustration represents the diverse fan base Chic have, which is highly evident given the many generations that follow them. Disco balls or illustrations of the band I felt would be too literal an approach.
