The chair was originally my grandparent’s. It sat at their dinner table for many years and my dad used to do his school homework sitting on this chair. The chair then moved into my grandmother’s painting studio, where she used it. I found the chair in my parent's shed a number of years ago. I asked my father about it after remarking on the character it possessed. When I heard its life story I decided it deserved to be resurrected.

The chair was exhibited at a group show called ‘Plasticine’ at Monster Truck Gallery, Dublin in 2007.
